I think that what you posted was actually very reasonable. But, consider this, suppose you typed a catchier title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added a title to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post titles to grab viewers to click. You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab people interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
